Introduction

While any 4-sided shape is a quadrilateral, we give special names to quadrilaterals that have specific properties regarding parallel sides, equal lengths, and right angles. Understanding the hierarchy of these shapes is one of the most important concepts in geometry.

3. Trapezium (Trapezoid) and Kite

These are not parallelograms.
